She's a witch from the Brittanian countryside who found a familiar named Moffy (a bird of some sorts, revealed later to be a swan chick), and went to London to find its home. She was inducted into the Aviation Magic Band as a Sergeant due to her singing talent. She's a Night Witch, but for some reason she can only receive radio waves, not broadcast them.
She's based on Scottish folk singer Jeannie Robertson.
