Polish: Uniwersalny Karabin Maszynowy, "Universal Machine Gun"
The UKM-2000 is a 7.62×51mm NATO general-purpose machine gun, manufactured by Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów in Tarnów, Poland. It was designed in 2000 after Poland joined NATO in 1999. The design and external appearance is heavily-based on the PKM.
