A mechanical gate consisting of revolving arms, allowing only one person at a time to pass through. Can come in various forms, such as rotating tripod turnstiles (which is what is tagged on Danbooru), waist-height and full-height revolving turnstiles, optical turnstiles, etc. Commonly found at fare gates and security checkpoints.
