Similar in appearance to a bucket hat or cloche_hat, the tulip hat typically has no defined brim, nor a ribbon/belt to create the appearance of one, and often has ribbing or panels dividing the hat into vertical sections more reminiscent of the namesake tulip. It can be further embellished with elements that make it look more like an upside down flower, or by rounding the panels to give it a wavy brim.
