Trypophobia (蓮コラ, lit. "Lotus collage", or 集合体恐怖症, "fear of aggregate patterns") is a repulsion towards seeing patterns of clusters of holes, such as those found on lotus pods and insect nests. People who have trypophobia experience symptoms such as itching and general discomfort upon looking at images with such patterns.
Use this tag for posts that trigger trypophobia. Common examples are human figures and faces with clusters of shallow holes.
