A day in which artists celebrate tights and pantyhose (sheer tights). Held on November 2nd of every year.
Tights Day was established by M&M Socks, Inc. in 2009. The date November 2nd, or 11/2, was chosen because the "11" in "11/2" resembles a pair of tights, and the "2" indicates a pair ([1]). November was also chosen because fall weather makes wearing tights more common.
