The art form of drama, that is, actors performing a play, musical, opera, etc, usually indoors on a stage in front of a live audience. Following the common practice amongst American theatre professionals, this tag uses the UK spelling theatre to better differentiate this sense from others that refer to a building, room or location, as in theater.
