A 9x19mm machine pistol manufactured by Swiss company Brügger & Thomet since 2001. It is a further development of the earlier Steyr TMP, originally designed in 1989 and manufactured by Steyr Mannlicher of Austria, before selling it to B&T in 2001. It has a handgun-like configuration, and a tubular vertical foregrip, with additional features new to the MP9 including an integrated Picatinny rail on top, a new trigger safety and a side-folding stock.
