The skit is about Seymour Skinner inviting his boss Gary Chalmers to his home for lunch. Upon realizing that his roast was burned in the oven, Skinner plans to sneak out and purchase fast food to disguise as his own cooking. He is nearly caught by Chalmers multiple times but makes up increasingly outlandish excuses to cover his plan, most notably claiming the hamburgers he secretly bought were homemade "steamed hams".
