Controversial 1946 Disney animated and live-action movie about a young boy Johnny and his friendship with the Uncle Remus. As the movie is set a plantation in the Reconstruction era after the American Civil War, the film featured a large number of racist black stereotypes, which led to the movie being a subject of polarizing debate and was withheld from re-release by Disney ever since.
Aside from racial stereotype issue, it is more positively well known for it's animated segments featuring talking animals which are still used in Disneyland and related merch.
