A tally system that counts points in numbers. It can be used to decide the winner of a competition (games, sports, etc.) or a single counter that decides the final result one got in something (exams, single-player game, etc.).
Applicable to both real life and video game examples. The numbers must be clearly seen to represent points the player(s) achieve during a play, and it's still ongoing.
