Rubik's Revenge is a 3D puzzle that is essentailly a 4×4×4 version of a Rubik's Cube. Although it was developed by Péter Sebestény, not Ernö Rubik, it was named "Rubik's Revenge" upon its release in 1981 in order to capitalize on its resemblance to the original 3×3×3 puzzle, which was still wildly popular at the time.
Later known in Rubik's brand marketing as the Rubik's Master. Speedcubers identify this simply as a 4×4.
