A species of arboreal mammals. Although called pandas, they're closer to raccoons in gait. It's taxonomic name is Ailurus fulgens.
Not to be confused with the raccoon or the tanuki, despite looking similar to both animals. Red pandas can be recognized by their reddish-brown fur, white facial markings and longer bodies.
