Project Luminasys (Luminescence, alternatively spelled Luminasis) is an ongoing idol project made by the artist ohisashiburi comprised of 14 characters, and 5 teams. The setting for the world isn't known as a whole and only given very sparely. The following information may not be 100 percent accurate.
Characters
PURE♡LOVE
= Is the main unit of the project in where our main character is apart of.
Kirara Akaru (Cv. Yui Horie): An ordinary middle school student with a troubled past. A happy go lucky attitude, it seems that she tries her best to stay positive despite her situation. She is the main character of the series. Kirara started her idol activities at Kuo's recommendation. After her mother is rendered comatose from an accident, she is left to live with a distant relative.
Komurasaki Kuo (Cv. Maaya Uchida): Kuo is the twin sister of mignon unit member Muma. She has a strong sense of inferiority towards her older sister, and deems her a rival; though one sided. After her sister had made her debut as an idol, she had decided to make a career for herself as an idol, aswell.
Yurizono Eryu (Cv. Hikasa Yoko): As the sole daughter of an affluent family, she is subsequently forced to listen to her parents nagging for her to take over the family business, and thus give up on her dreams. It seems she refused. She is acquainted with Rona in school, but due to her disappearing, she had became a loner.
MIGNON
Komurasaki Muma (Cv. Hidaka Rina): The older twin sister of Kuo. She is said to have a very mature personality for her age. 'muma' is her stage name.
Kano Shirayuki (Cv. Kayano Ai): The leader of the mignon unit group, and the daughter of a famous company within the universe. Her appearance is deceiving, as she likes to cause mischief regularly and play pranks on others. Its mentioned that she has a younger brother who looks exactly like her.
Fukami Levy (Cv. Wakai Yuki): She proclaims herself to be 'cool' and 'mysterious'. Has an accent when she speaks, and appears to swear a lot. It's said that she has an extreme secondary illness, though undisclosed.
CAROL / CALOR
Katanaya Mashiko (Cv. Minami Tanaka): She is the youngest out of all the Luminasys characters. Characterized by a boyish appearance, she acts very mature for her age.
Sazanami Tsudzuru (Cv. Hibiku Yamamura): She is often seen wearing very traditional Japanese clothing, and most of her outfits will by only slightly modernized. Tzudzuru is said to be a delinquent that often skips class.
MYSTIC NOVA / MYSTICNOVA
= It is a team made up of foreign students only. Unlike pure♡love, which emphasizes cuteness, it emphasizes charisma.
Svetiana (alternatively Svetlana): She is a Russian student studying at the school. She has very bad anxiety and is typically unable to speak up, whether it be for herself, or for others. Only a select few are able to get her to speak. Since her real name seems to be Hikaru Hoshimachi, the initial setting of her being an international student is not made clear. Whether she is an international student or of mixed race, is up in airs.
Layla (alternatively Lyla): A Brazilian student, perhaps due to that, she is the only character with darker skin out of all of the group(s). She is the tallest out of all the characters in the series, and is said to be very good at lying and deception.
Yuson (alternatively Meteor): A Korean student. Due to her overwhelming talent in singing, dancing and makeup, she is very popular with other teenage girls and has many followers on social media.
RESARCANA
= Although a unit, there is only one member.
Hatane Rona: Rona is a girl said to be blessed and adored by god, beautiful looks and incredible talent, she is envied. Early on, she used to be acquainted with Eryu growing up. However, it is undisclosed the reason as to why she no longer met with her. Due to another series of mistakes made by her, she had became the reason as to why Kirara's mother became comatose, and subsequently making her an orphan.
MISC
= These characters did not exist initially, but were added later on.
Kusuri Nemui: A girl with very long hair in drills, she is shown to be a very big fan of Kirara.
Okuoka Kimi: A girl with tomboyish characteristics. Her distinctive features are her very sharp eyes and multiple piercings. She is a singer/songwriter, and is shown to be in a unit with Nemui (though unnamed as of now).
