The stereotypical white-faced "sadclown." Staples include a loose white blouse with large buttons and white wide-leg pantaloons. Sometimes pierrots don a frilledcollaret and hat, usually with a fitted crown with wide round brim, although conical varieties similar in shape to a dunce cap have also been used.
