Petliurivka is a soft British-style cap introduced to the Ukrainian army by Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi in 1918. It was used by the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic (1918-1920) and replaced the mazepynka of the Ukrainian Galician Army (1918-1920) after the merger of the two armies.
