A female body type commonly seen on petite and shortstack characters, with hips wider than their bust, resembling the shape of a pear. Sometimes also called a triangle body type. Usually a package deal with narrow waist and thick thighs. Most often also paired with a flat chest or small breasts for further accentuation through contrast, though this is not required so long as the hips are noticeably wider than the bust.
If the width of the bust and hips are about equal, it's likely a hourglass figure, not a pear.
