A fictional sneaker model of the future designed by Nike for Back to the Future 2, in which they were worn by Marty McFly. The shoes had a distinctive very high top, and were notable for their self-lacing feature.
In 2011 Nike released a real life version of the sneaker with the same self-tightening feature from the movie in a limited run of 89 pairs. These have gone on to become some of the most expensive sneakers of all time, with pairs selling for upwards of $75000 USD.
