She is portrayed with shortwhite hair, blue eyes; and wears the Fujikawa-design Asashio-class uniform of DesDiv9 (herself, Asagumo, Yamagumo, and Minegumo).
Her rigging consists of a funnel-bridge-mast backpack, handheld 61 cm torpedo tubes to her left, and a handheld 12.7 cm Type C twin gun mount on her right. In kai form, she gains a Type 13 radar as a hair ornament, along with 25 mm AA guns on her backpack rig and thigh straps.
