Her second remodel gives her a new modified uniform shared with her fellow sister ships's second remodel. Her main difference is her longer boots.

Her name makes for an easy (and unfortunate) pun with the word "nazi", especially considering the Japanese pronounciation of "nazi" (ナチ, nachi). Hence, the art featuring her wearing a german military uniform.
Nachi is sometimes depicted as having a hatred or fear of aircraft due to an event that occurred while she was at port in Manila. While anchored, she was ambushed by an American raid that had intended to sink naval ships. Upon only spotting Nachi, she was attacked by about 60 planes, and hit by 26 bombs, 7 torpedoes, and about 20 rockets. She was blown into three separate pieces and sank.
