At school, she is described as having an extremely menacing aura, which led to her having few friends. She was once seen beating up her older brother. Because of these things, other students at school became afraid to approach her or get to know her. In truth, she is actually quite shy and it is implied that she is only able to talk to small children.
After befriending Komaru, she gradually becomes more social, open and confidant.
