A monster truck is a specialized off-road vehicle with heavy suspensions, four-wheel steering, and oversized tires designed for competition and entertainment uses. Monster trucks are either purpose built or modified from existing vehicles. Modified vehicles are commonly light-duty trucks, such as pickup trucks, or sports utility vehicles, but many other types of motor vehicles can be made into a monster truck like cars and even school buses.
