Legendary artist and character designer known for, amongst others, Tetsuwan Atom (80s version), Gunbuster, Gundam, Orguss and Macross character design.
While some of his most known and popular character designing work began in the 1980s, he continued being quite prolific during the 1990s and the 2000s. Still doing mostly manga work up to this day, with a much more modern style.
