A sports car produced by Mazda from 2002 to 2011 as a successor to the RX-7. The RX-8 featured a rotary engine like it's predecessor, though it was notably less powerful. As of it's discontinuation, Mazda has not produced any rotary sports cars.
The RX-8 featured a unique 4-doored coupe design, with two smaller suicide doors positioned near the back seats. While it never reached the level of acclaim that the RX-7 did, it still had a number of appearances in popular racing games - most notably as Mia Townsend's car in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
