A very small parrot, famous for their monogamous pair-bonding and the pairs' extended time spent sitting together or preening each other.
There are 9 species and multiple domestic color mutations. Most are green with a small, downturned, bright red beak; with salmon/orange, yellow, grey and/or black head coloration that blend in a smooth gradient to the body color. Beak is grey in a few species.
