A second-year high school student at Umamichi Academy. Though he is only the secretary of the student council, in practice he does nearly everything by himself, as the other members rarely even show up. A Transient from Penglai, he was once a human poet but was transformed into a tiger. Sometime after arriving in Tokyo, his fur changed into the white color it is today. He acts like a delinquent, but at his core, he is serious and responsible. However, he also has an overconfident streak that makes him overestimate his knowledge and ability, as well as a penchant for spouting old-fashioned poetry and proverbs. His past experiences have given him a phobia of failure, which often ends up dashing his otherwise-earnest efforts. He is the type to be easily overwhelmed by those with high social status or imposing demeanors.
