Leo Minor (the Lesser Lion) is a small constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. Its brightest star is Praecipua.
Leo Minor usually represents 3-4 connected stars, with two main ("body") lines forming an obtuse angle, sometimes with a third straight line added. In some cases, a fifth star is added below the "body", making it a quadrilateral. The constellation lies directly above its "parent" Leo (the Lion) and below Ursa Major (the Great Bear).
