A type of penguin native to Antarctica. The second tallest and largest of all penguin species, second to emperor penguin. Adults are recognizable by their gray and yellowish fur around their ears and neck. Chicks are recognizable by their brown fur.
They can very easily be confused with emperor penguins and gigant penguins, however, king penguins are smaller and the colors around their ears and necks are different.
