K.I.T.T. is the short name of a fictional sentient robot character from the American adventure and science fiction TV series Knight Rider released in the 80s.
An acronym of Knight Industries Two Thousand, KITT is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module in the body of a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile (portrayed by a modified 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am sports car with a heavily customized interior).
KITT was voiced by American actor William Daniels in the original series.
