An experimental rocket-powered interceptor jointly developed for the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy Air Services during World War II. It was essentially a copy of the German Messerschmitt Me 163Komet. Seven prototypes were built, only one of which was flown (once, and it crashed) before the end of the war brought the project to a halt.
