Honda RA271, the predecessor of the RA270 prototype race car, marking it's debut in 1964 on the German Grand Prix's Nürburgring circuit.
The Honda RA271 was Honda's first ever Formula One racing car to enter a race along with being the first Japanese-built car ever to enter a round of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
The car was developed from the company's 1963 prototype, retrospectively designated as the RA270.
Only one RA271 was ever built. The car is currently on display in the Honda Collection Hall at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan.
