RX-78GP04G Gundam "Gerbera" The fourth unit of the Gundam Development Project. Intended to act as a high speed assault unit, the Gerbera was equipped with three "Sturm Booster" hybrid fuel tank/thrusters on its back, enabling it to have impressive range and mobility. However, as its role clashed with the Gundam GP-01 Zephyranthes, it was decided to initially move it to a long range fire support type by adding a long beam rifle to the unit before further development of the machine was ended.
The incomplete GP04 would eventually be handed to Cima Garahau of the Delaz Fleet, having been refitted externally to resemble a more Zeon-like design and rechristened the Gerbera Tetra.
