The Fedorov Avtomat (Автома́т Фёдорова) is a Russian select-fire rifle designed by Vladimir Grigoryevich Fyodorov in 1915. Originally chambered in 6.5×50mmSR Arisaka and fed from standard 25-round magazine, its fire rate ranges from 350 to 400 rounds per minute. Produced in the Russian Empire and later in the Soviet Union. The weapon saw limited use in World War I.
It is considered to be an early predecessor of the modern battle rifle designs.
