A superhero from Watchmen. Dr. Manhattan was formerly an atomic physicist named Jon Osterman who gained near god-like powers following a lab accident that destroyed his physical body. His new body takes the form of a bald, nude, toned male with blueglowing skin. His forehead is marked with the atomic structure of hydrogen, which he chose for himself as his own icon.
He is notable for being the only character in the comic that has supernatural powers.
