A type of older CRTtelevision set that featured rotary control knobs (dials).
Such TVs typically featured two large dials, one for volume control and another for channel. May also feature several smaller dials for fine-tuning, brightness, contrast, and horizontal and vertical hold adjustments.
They began being replaced starting in the 80's with the development of push buttons and digital tuning.
