"Daring" from her dam's name. "Tact" is short for "tactics".
Real-life Japanese Racehorse. Sired by Epiphaneia (from Symboli Kris S and foaled by Cesario, a daughter of Special Week) and foaled by Daring Bird. She became famous as the first undefeated Japanese Triple Tiara in 2020 but victory eluded her afterwards. She went on a hiatus after the 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong due to injuries, resting for over a year before returning to race only to stop again due to more injuries after the 2022 Japan Cup. She was eventually retired on October 6 2023 due to her leg issues not having improved since then.
She is a brown mare with a small star marking (itself roughly shaped like a star) and no leg markings.
She is also famous for her firsts in Umamusume, being the first horse to be implemented while still being active as well as the first triple tiara to be unveiled.
She is also infamous for her memetic "interview" during her hiatus which features her taking a bath and making a face while subtitles rolls below her, which makes her look like she's mouthing what the actual interviewee is saying. This led to jokes about her being the voice actress of her own Umamusume counterpart (e.g.: post #5722302).
