Czechoslovakia's principal armed forces. It was established in 1918 following Czechoslovakia's declaration of independence from Austria-Hungary. It would later be formally renamed the Czechoslovak People's Army in 1954 after a period of Sovietisation. They would revert to their former name in 1990 but then dissolved upon the Dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993. Use this tag for images depicting its logo or characters wearing the uniform.
