One of the languages constructed by J. R. R. Tolkien for his legendarium. Itself an in-universe constructed langauage, it was created by Sauron to serve as the language of his forces in Mordor. Tolkien seldom wrote about the Black Speech, and it is best known for being the language inscribed on the One Ring, written in a stylized Tengwar script.
