One of various exercises where a person's back is on the ground and they move their legs in the air back and forth as if they were pedaling a bicycle.
Types
- Crunches: Person has their back on the floor, hands behind their head with elbows out to sides, legs make a back and forth stepping motion while person twists their body to have elbow reach toward opposite knee when bending knee up
- Pilates: Person has upper back on the floor, body bent upward and making pedaling motion with the legs upward into the air
