Kinzo Ushiromiya's one and only lover. Her father was an Italian army official, and she accompanied him on a secret mission for the Salo Republic involving the transportation of 10 tons of gold. Traveling by submarine, the crew hit a mine and (with many casualities, including Beatrice's father) were barely able to take refuge on a small Japanese military base on Rokkenjima, where Kinzo was stationed.

By speaking to each other, Kinzo and Beatrice dearly understood their respective sympathies and fell in love. On Rokkenjima, the Japanese and Italian armies proceeded to slaughter each other over the gold that the Italians transported, with Kinzo and Beatrice being the sole survivors. Beatrice was hurt in the crossfire, and was brought to Terumasa Nanjo by Kinzo to be treated. Afterwards, they started a secret relationship on Rokkenjima (due to Kinzo being married already) and eventually produced a child. Beatrice died during childbirth, and Kinzo named the child "Beatrice Ushiromiya" in her honor.
