Standardized paper used in the traditional hand-drawn animation process, usually features trim marks to show the framing of the cel, and punched holes at the top to be held in alignment with other sheets in an animation peg bar.
May feature differently colored line art (color trace) or annotations such as the scene number being depicted or timing information. Sometimes seen in pre-production animatics giving a rough feel for the intended animation.
