Retired Japanese jockey. Initially, he was a jockey at Kasamatsu Racecourse, where he rode Oguri Cap before the horse transitioned to JRA races. He too would switch his affiliation to the JRA in 2003, where he was active for a decade before retiring to becoming a media commentator.
