The oval-shaped balls used in American football. ๐
The balls used in American football are brown, feature laces on the side, and have a white strip toward both ends. They're similar to rugby balls, but those can come in a wider variety of colors, frequently lack the laces, and do not have the stripes. American footballs also have pointer ends than a rugby ball.
For association football, see soccer ball.
