Hand-drawn and computer-generated animation originating from Japan. It began in the early 20th century. Used to be called TV Manga in the beginning of its the modern era during the 60s, as a characteristic art style emerged in that decade with the works of mangaka Tezuka Osamu and spread in the following decades, developing a large domestic and foreign audience.
