Her rigging consists of two connected hull pieces in a half-circle, fastened to her back with a funnel and containing her four 41 cm twin gun mounts and two 14 cm single mounts.

Often portrayed as cool and professional if a bit prideful, being one (and the first) of the Big 7 battleships legally allowed by the Washington Naval Treaty system to mount 16-inch guns. Secretly likes cute things.
History
In real life, she was Yamamoto Isoroku's flagship in the first months of the war (even gave the signal for the Pearl Harbor attack to commence from her bridge). She served as part of BatDiv1 with Yamato and Mutsu in the battle of Midway. After the war, she was used along with Sakawa, Prinz Eugen and Saratoga as a target at Bikini Atoll during Operation Crossroads. She was sunk after the Baker test from a combination of damage sustained on the attack on Yokosuka and the two nuclear tests.
