Edit
The personification of the Japanese destroyer Asashio in Kantai Collection. Character design by Konishi (koconatu), voiced by Miyakawa Wakana.
She is a very dutiful young girl with a long black hair and blue eyes. She wears a short-sleeved white shirt, arm warmers, a skirt with suspenders and black thighhighs. She holds a quad torpedo launcher and a twin-gun turret and carries a randoseru-shaped structure.
For Halloween 2018 she received the Asashio Kai Ni (Halloween Mode) CG consisting of a witch costume. For her Kai Ni D, she has cat ears and a cat tail, white bows added to the sides of her shoes and the handle of her "wand" is chartreuse.
The historical Asashio was completed in August 1937 and sunk in the Battle of the Bismarck Sea while attempting to rescue survivors from the Muroto-class collier Nojima and her sister ship Arashio.
