The personification of the Japanese aircraft carrier Taihou in Kantai Collection. Character design by Shimada Fumikane, voiced by Noto Mamiko.
She has medium-length brown hair, brown eyes, and small breasts/flat chest. Appearance-wise, Taihou is the youngest and smallest of the fleet carrier ship-girls due to her historically short career; she had only been afloat for just over two months before she was sunk by USS Albacore, and only participated in a single battle, the Battle of the Philippine Sea.
Her outfit consists of a white/black shirt worn under a white shrug, a collar piece patterned off her real-life bow with a kikumon, grey corset armor, red/dark green pleated skirt, black bike shorts, black thighhighs, black rudder footwear, and a metal hairband. Her rigging consists of her real-life hull and flight deck to her left (with magazine storage) and her real-life bridge to her right, with 10 cm twin anti-aircraft gun mounts on her waist. She uses a crossbow to launch aircraft.
