In Splatoon 3, with the omission of gender-locked hair, the only canonical difference between male and female octolings is their eyebrows and eye mask markings. With eye masks, Octolings boys do not have an eyelash on the lower outer corners, whereas girls do. For differences in eyebrows between the genders, see below. Please note that these gender differences is subject to artstyle, and not always congruent with canon.
