Her seiyuu is Touyama Nao, who voices the entire Takao-class.
Her real life historical counterpart was one of the few IJN surviving ships of WW2 and frequently portrayed together with Myoukou in fanarts and other material due to their shared real life circumstances and nature of both becoming either too heavily heavily battle damaged to be towed or out of fuel to move for real repair from the naval battles of 1944 and would end up serving the rest of WW2 as effectively permanently moored makeshift AA platforms at Singapore from December 1944 till the end of WW2.
While turned over to allied power as war prizes both Takao and Myoukou were far too heavily damaged for any real feasible repair in as well as not being compatible with allied armories and were either scrapped or deliberately sunken after anything of technological value was looked over or removed for study.
