Persona is a series of role-playing games developed and published by Atlus. It is a spin-off series of Shin Megami Tensei, designed to be a more traditional and accessible RPG series than its main counterpart. The series would eventually exceed Shin Megami Tensei in both sales and popularity, starting with Persona 3.
